Cosy for the winter and lightweight enough for the warmer months, the lofty Herringbone throw is both practical and luxe. Add texture and interest with this 100% extra fine Merino wool accessory, with diverse shades ranging from subtle apple mint to nature-inspired thistle.
The Johnstons throws are an investment for the future, both versatile and designed to last. Super soft and wonderfully warm, they drape beautifully and work well with upholstery in contrasting textures.
Johnstons of Elgin offer a range of luxurious throws, made Scotland from the highest quality natural and renewable fibres. The finest fibres, including Cashmere, Merino Wool and Lambswool, are carefully selected for their next-to-skin softness and durability. Their plain, herringbone and paisley throws add colour and texture to any living space while their heritage-inspired designs give a nod to their proud Scottish history. Shop the range and explore true indulgence.
When caring for your Herringbone throw, please refer to the instructions specified by the manufacturer. Dry clean for the best results, shake and hang to remove dust particles, gently spot clean any marks or stains with lukewarm water (35 degrees), air dry to maintain the shape. If you’re unsure, you can check the care instructions in the table above.
Johnstons of Elgin is a woollen mill in Elgin, Scotland. The mill established in 1797 is the same mill which produces cashmere garments today. Their founder, Alexander Johnston, pioneered the use of tweed for camouflage and the style became known as Scottish Estate Tweeds. Johnstons' mill carries out the processes of dyeing, spinning, weaving, and finishing on one site, thus making it the only vertical mill in Scotland. It has also been recognised with the Royal Warrant of Appointment, a mark of recognition of those who have supplied goods or services to the Households of HM The Queen or HRH The Prince of Wales for at least five years.
