When caring for your Plain Reversible bed throw, please refer to the instructions specified by the manufacturer. Dry clean woven cashmere products for the best results, shake and hang to remove dust particles, gently spot clean any marks or stains with lukewarm water (35 degrees), air dry damp or spot-cleaned woven cashmere products to maintain their shape. If you’re unsure, you can check the care instructions in the table above.
Johnstons of Elgin is a woollen mill in Elgin, Scotland. The mill established in 1797 is the same mill which produces cashmere garments today. Their founder, Alexander Johnston, pioneered the use of tweed for camouflage and the style became known as Scottish Estate Tweeds. Johnstons mill carries out the processes of dyeing, spinning, weaving, and finishing on one site, thus making it the only vertical mill in Scotland. It has also been recognised with the Royal Warrant of Appointment, a mark of recognition of those who have supplied goods or services to the Households of HM The Queen or HRH The Prince of Wales for at least five years.
